Day 1: Arrive and check in to hotel ( Atlantic Towers or Portobello Ondina Praia). Dinner at night in the “Solar da Unhão” restaurant on the edge of the ocean in this well preserved former slave market dating back to the 17th century. Enjoy an unforgettable view at the ocean’s edge and indulge in the exotic flavours of the Bahian cuisine and a delightful folkloric show. (Drinks are not included).
Day 2: A tour of the historic quarter of Salvador. The tour will take you to the Cidade Alta (Upper City) where the UNESCO World Heritage listed Pelourinho district is located. See the Castro Alves square (immortalized by Caetano Veloso, the famous Brazilian musician). See the city’s lighthouse (Farol da Barra), the Elevador Lacerda, the public elevator that transports residents from the upper to the lower part of the city and many other historical sites. The night is free for your own activities.
Day 3: The day is yours to relax in Salvador. A highly recommended optional activity is to take a schooner trip of the Baia de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay). At night we visit the Pelourinho Historical District for dinner and dancing to live music in the many squares of the historical district.
Day 4: Check out of hotel and transfer to airport.
